Buying My First Flat

Hello readers,

If you stumble across my blog I hope you stay for a few minutes and have a read, and I hope you enjoy it!!

My name is Jillian and I am a 24 year old slightly crazed make-up artist living in Scotland. I am in the process of buying my first flat and decorating it to look like the inside of my head, which lets face it is brightly colored and filled with childrens stories!!

I have so many ideas swimming around in my head that i have decided to put them all down here and hopefully make some sense of it all. It all seems a bit bit mad now but if you stay tuned I promise you it will all come together soon!!

I want to have one of those flats where there is so much interesting things to look at, and every time you come over something is different!!! I want to bring all of my favourite colours and things into it and basically just be happy in my mad home!!!


As its my first flat and I am buying my budget is a little tight, I do have enough to buy mostly new furniture but where is the fun in that!!

I am a huge fan of kirsties fill your house for free that Ive been inspired to do this for my whole flat!! Now oviously I'm not expecting to get everything for free, and I will be buying a new bed and other new things but I am going to upcycle like crazy and make some amazing things!!!

Ok so here is where I am at!! I have made an offer on a flat, its been accepted and I am just waiting for the written offer to go through and then I can find out my date of entry and scream my head off!!!! I'm aiming for Oct the 3rd so fingers crossed!!
